The Village of Mto wa Mbu on the shores of Lake Manyara is a living example of one of the richest linguistic mixes in Africa. Home to over 90 tribes, Mto wa Mbu is quite possibly the only place where you can hear Bantu, Nilotic, Khoisan and Cushitic accents spoken in the same marketplace together with the diverse lifestyles and heritage that comes with these people.
