Also comparatively close to Arusha (120km) is the Tarangire National Park. It is famous for it dense wildlife population of Wildebeest, Zebra, Elephant, Lion, Hartebeest, Buffalo and many more. This panoramic park should be a must for every itinerary.
Tarangire Safari Lodge
The Camp overlooks the wildlife migration routes from Maasailand into and out of the Park. The 16 bedded camp is situated to take advantage of expansive views over the Silale Swamp system. Only two tents are close to each other, providing convenience for family groups with children. Every tent has beautifully made local furniture and is decorated with dried flowers and African fabrics. Each has its own private en-suite shower and toilet. The camp is situated on the bluff overlooking the Tarangire river.
